Need ideas!

So I’m in the process of converting an old in-ground pool into a natural swimming pond. I need help figuring out what to use as a barrier to keep the floating plants in one area of the pool. I don’t want to use any kind of netting because I don’t want the fish or any kids getting caught up in it & I found some rope with larger yellow floats attached to it, but the floats are bulky & ugly so really don’t want to use them. Someone suggested using PVC, but that’s not something I’m interested in. I’m hoping to get some better ideas from this community. TIA for any suggestions!

In a tank I use airline hose so maybe larger version for tje pool?

lol i'm thinking using a bunch of those floating noodles would work well.
