I have already posted this in my tank thread but figured I would share here where it belongs as well. I ran across a free 1/4" sheet of untempered glass. I decided to try my hand at making a shallow rimless frag tank with it. The measurements I went with are 24"L, 18"W, & 8"T. It totals out to be right under 15 gallons in volume. I got the glass panels cut as following.

Bottom Panel- 23 1/2" X 17 1/2"
Front/Back Panels- 18" X 8"
Side Panels- 17 1/2" X 8"

Notice I allowed for the 1/4" on both sides taking a 1/2" out on the cuts. The sides, front, & back sit in front of the bottom panel. The front and back over the sides. I went with the 100% silicone GE I clear. It is a cheap silicone bit I've heard good results on tanks that aren't very large. Here are some photos of it so far.

Great documentation!
I'm in(on other thread also).
What type of corals do you plan to frag?
Mostly photo ,or non photo?
I ask in considering your filter options still.

Anything and everything I suppose. Probably mostly SPS and zoas.
