Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hey all. I do residential water treatment and was wondering if I were to put a filtration system together for a 120g, what all should I include? I was thinking of a closed loop system using a few 60 inch tanks of media and some pre-filters. i was hoping to drop two foot valved tubes in the tank, hard plumbed to a small, quiet jet pump. I might be able to pull four to six months out of the tank media before I have to re-bed. I have access to many media types and might even be able to find a reconditioned Iron Curtain aeration system to pipe in. I have the room for the system as it will have its own little room next to the aquarium in my basement. Do folks do this? Do the systems have inherent flaws when it comes to aquariums? All possible advice is desired.
