I was going to reseal a tank I got off craigslist. I have this huge piece of glass in tge middle what is the purpose of it can I get rid of it or cut it in two pieces and space it out. Im using it as a reef tank and im wondering how much light will be blocked out bc of its thickness its about 3/8 in thick. Any thoughts.

Yes. I asked glass cages the same question and they said I could 2 36x18 frames. For a new frame. if the frames have braces can I take that middle one out?

When I bought it the person said it was 135 but I think ita a 125.

The dimensions are includimg the thickness of yhe glass with tge frames is 72(1/2)x18(1/4)x21(1/2) LxWxH

Do you think that I could get the piece cut into 2in pieces and put 3 braces in to hold.

Or maybe drill holes into the brace I have now so more light will get thru?
