I have aquired a 10g tank from a friend and hope to transfer my male Betta into it. My current tank is a near 10g tank that has the false wall that hides the heater, powerhead, sponge filter and bio ceramic rings. I like this look so I'm planning on doing something similar for my new tank. Anyone done something like this? Will acrylic glass work? Any advice welcomed.

Going to paint the back of the tank black so to hide cables etc. Also use acrylic to create a false wall to hide filter, heater etc.

Going to use a stingray filter for a 15g. Lighting from a aquaone nano tank and a heater from the same tank. Trying do do this build on a budget. Will be building my own stand as well with space to hold a qt tank.
