Sump noise

Hey all. Just finished making the sump tank for my 175g is there a way to keep the sump noise to a minimum?

There's a couple of things that can help. Look up Durso standpipe for the overflows. For the sump I just extended my drain hoses into the bottom of the filter sock. And raised the water level so the bottom of the sock is under water.

I would look into a herbie or bean animal overflow if you want it to be dead silent.
