So today I started my refugium, how can I get more filtration. Water is a little cloudy. Removed the HOB. I sure hope I can get this to work for my seahorses. Have chetom and pods on the way. Any ideas

5 gallon sump, refugium for a 28 gallon nano cube. Not to fancy..just a small addition. Using a eshopps nano filterbox. Saving for a differnt skimmer. Maybd a filterpad of some sort.

Do you have any live rocks in the tank? If yes, then how many pounds? Any form of mechanical filtration (ie filter socks or filter pads)? What kind of skimmer are you thinking about to replace your old one?

Yes in the DT and in the refugium, not sure on skimmer yet. Somthing that will fit. I could add some rock rubble where the water flows in no room for a sock

If you want or if readings are high, then you could use phosphate remover. Its better to do more water change for small tanks like yours.

Im not sure what else you could do with your system.
