Switching light set up with the same hood! Ideas needed!

So I have a 28 gallon nano cube salt water tank. It has a 150 watt 14k metal halide bulb on it. I'm planning on using for freshwater and of course this is pretty much useless in this tank. So I was wondering if switching it out for one with 6700k at the same wattage, but this is probably to much watts for the tank. or switching out the whole set up completely. If I did switch out the whole set up how would I do it?
