I am building a t5ho hood for my tank. I have all the parts i need excpet the endcaps. What are the best/cheapest caps I should get? I do not need the fancy vho caps or anything like that. Just a decent endcap.

will your enclosure have glass in front of it? Vented? etc. Moisture plays a big part of what end caps you can get by on. Ebay cheapo's will die quickly when exposed to a ton of moisture.

I plant on having a piece of glass or plexiglass between the bulbs and the tank. I alos am going to have a fan and some vents to keep the lights/ballast cooler.

do plexiglass or acrylic, glass will absorb some of the light
