Tetras Tank

Hi sadly my male Betta fish died (I think of age because I've had him for 2 1/2 years.) he lived in a 1.7 gal tank and I was wondering if a school of a few tetras would fit in it

they live 3-5 years and need 2.5 to 5 gallons an tetras need 10

its okay weve all done it before lol but dont worry he was probly a happy little fish any way my grandma kept 1 in a 1 gallon tank then we upgraded
