I bought a new tank for bettas (my old 5 gallon sprang a leak). It comes pre-divided and that is the problem. The dividers are solid to prevent the bettas seeing each other and stressing out. They are TOO solid, preventing water flow. The first tank has a ton of current because the water hits the divider and bounces back, the second compartment has a tiny amount of movement, and the third has no movement at all. I'm wondering, would it be possible to make a DIY spray bar out of PVC, drill holes in the dividers, and slide the pipe through to spread out the flow without making it too strong?
