wet/dry filter

So like how hard would it be to custome build a wet/dry filter? I've already got a 20gal sick tank that could be converted easily, some plexiglass that i think would work for the drip plate, but like what else would i need to do? this would be for a 58gal show that i think i'm going to do as a reef tank.

Looks like you havnt gotten a responce for a while.. might be because there is alot of designs out there for wet/dry systems.. have you checked any out? have any quetions about a design you have found?
