What paint for background?

Acrylic paint, took three coats one hour apart with a nappy roller. Still have over three quarters of a quart left. Good for painting the bottom of your QT or additional tanks in the future. If you need a pic I can do later,@ work. Working:dance:
 
I used blue plasti dip last weekend. Needed an entire spray can to paint back and bottom of my 20 gallon long tank. Needed about 8 coats to make it opaque. I was surprised at how translucent this was even after 4 coats.

Instructions on can says that each can covers 5 to 10 square feet. I think its more like 4 square feet for aquariums because any bit of backlighting causes minor paint imperfections to become obvious if less than 7-8 coats are applied.
