Where to find DIY Aquarium parts?

Where is the best place to buy parts? In particular, I'm looking for plastic molding (sp?) that goes around the top of a glass tank. Thanks

yrs ago, i broke the center brace of my 55gallon All-glass tank, i contacted my local fish store, that carried all-glass exclusively, and i talked to them, and they special ordered my the top plastic frame, with the center brace for ~17bucks.

i suggest you try looking for a local fish store that stocks just the brand tank you have. and asking them for help, most can special order those molding peices.

For the top and bottom frames for comerical built tanks you can check www.thatfishplace.com. I know they used to carry some frames. I got a 45gal frame from them when I had to repair a broken center brace about 4 years ago.
