I picked up a 20L. I can use it with my old light fixture and canister to grow plants and the snail nursery. I till tear down my 10g and 5g. Less maintenance overall.

Buy NOTHING else at that store!
$65 for a heater on line for $30 when no on sale! This is just an example....
Stands are always the issue for many....
Most stands for sale at fish places although strong enough ,lack good construction, material and aesthics IMO.many make their own or go to lowes or HD and get utility shelves...
Last stand I bought was an angle iron over under!
Very angry as my store [first one I went to] had 2 @ 75g in the DPG pile!
I have no room ATM...

I got one of the 75s Weirdly, they had no tops or hoods for that size. Oh, well. Thinking about going topless anyway, with emergent plants...

So this says 250lbs per shelf. Would something like this work?

I can't pull up link?
It is best if tank will not fit end to end in shelf[pretty tight] to place wood on the entire shelf first.A 20 long will be under or around 200 so the shelf should work but they always qualify with * properly distributed weight...That is what the wood is for.Simple as ply wood the length of the shelf, not tank....
Look on YouTube " DPG shelfs"..There used to a couple links I think...
  20 long

I have used this type of shelf in the past. One thing I do not like is the way the shelves attach. They are not in a fixed position. You put wedge pieces below and push the shelf over. They are a challenge to get level.

They are highly adjustable and it's nice when you need that to store stuff on the other shelves. But my OCD and inability to get them perfectly level bugged me.
