Bluereef aquacitcs nightmare

Hi
I just received a refund check from BlueReef aquatics the whole thing took more than three months. Sure enough it was cheap futnitue but given the whole experience I would rather pay more and have it delivered on time etc. My main complain is the lack of communication from the guy. This is just inexcusable!!. I understand the guy had a problelm with one of his vendors but not communicating it clearly to his customers is just not right. I made a payment on Feb 28th and now is May 15th my whole project is a mess so I started to look for another aquarium furniture maker. I found one and to my surprise their internet distrubutor is the bluereef aquaric!!!. So I emailed the guy again seeking a quote for a different type of furniture he responded very quickly but when I wanted some more info he just ignored me. I not going to waist my time any more. I would say stay away from the bluereef aquaitc

Send a message via AIM to BlueReefAqua
I want to apologize to PolarZebra for all of your issues encountered. The same is offered to Greenfish.

I am working on refunding all orders as quickly as possible, unfortunately, I am having to do it from personal funds as they are available. But I will continue to do this, becuase I feel very bad for what everyone has had to deal with and it is against my morals to allow anyone to be taken advantage of. As of this date, I am still out all the money paid to Dayton for the cabinets and also the money being used to refund everybodies orders. However, I look at this as being non of my customers fault and my responsibility to resolve.

PolarZebra, sorry for the delay in getting back to you this last week. I had to go out of town for a family medical emergency and just got back this evening. I was actually working on your quotes when I received a message to look at this thread. Let me know via email if you are no longer interested and I will not bother you with it and just simply ask that you accept my sincere apologies.

There have been numerous people order BRI stands from me and all have recieved their orders before the promised date and have been very happy. Unfortunately, the same was not true with the Dayton Aquarium stands, which is why they are no longer available.

I still do not have my refund. I sent the guy an email. I got no response as usual. It has now been four months since I placed my order. I realize that his guy had some problems which were beyond his control but that is no excuse for his extremely poor handling of the situation. All businesses have problems. It is how you handle them that defines you as a company. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rank this guy a flat out zero. He does not belong on the scale. Two thumbs way down on this one.

I received full refund from the guy. But I agree that the situation should've been handled much better.

Well... Looks like $170 is not that cheap!

If you paid with credit card I would email them once more saying they have 24 hours to credit the card.
If you paid with check or something I would have them send the check overnight mail so you get it tomorrow.

Email them one more time, giving them one of those options (Unless you paid differantly).

As it is right now it is a sueable matter, and I can bet you they would rather hop to getting your money back than having a lawsuit on their hands...
