Check these prices

http://www.wctropicalmarine.com/index.html

Great prices on livestock. I would love to see if these guys would be interested in sponsoring AA but I dont know how to contact them. If anyone knows how let me know. In the meantime, check out their site. I can't wait to order from them.

Does this sound good?

The package comes with 15 Nerite Snails, 15 Nassarius Snails, 8 Cerith Snails, 13 Margarita Snails, 5 Turbo Snails, 2 Peppermint Shrimp.

That's 48.06 plus 29 bux shipping.

If I'm figuring correctly, I've been paying 2.49 for a turbo. I counted 56 snails, @ 2.49 that's 139 bux. So am I right in assuming that's a pretty good deal?

Ok so I did a little checking and the "60" package in my last post with shipping is around $78 bux. If I get the "85" which comes with "15 Nerite Snails, 20 Nassarius Snails, 12 Cerith Snails, 11 Margarita Snails, 8 Turbo Snails, 3 Peppermint Shrimp, 1 Brittle Starfish, 13 Red Leg Hermits, 2 Emerald Crabs" It's only $80.74 with free shipping. Wow Just where is that credit card?

Well I'll let you know how it goes.

Here is the run down. I've been paying 2.49 for snails (aal I can find here is turbos, and we know about their mortality rate).

66 snails @ 2.49 is $165.00
3 pepermint shrimp @ 6.99 is $20.97
1 Brittle star @ 7.99
13 Red leg hermits @ 2.49 ea. $32.00
2 emerald crabs (I don't know what they cost, never got any)

Total my cost lfs not including tax $226.00 plus whatever emerald crabs cost. Wow almost sounds too good to be true.

Michael, Kudos to you for this find.

Thanks, But I already commited myself. By the time I got through comparing what I was paying with what I would save I guess I got a littel giddy . I'll do some checking and if in the future I need some more (and with MTS setting in I will ) I'll make a better informed desision.

I contacted the owner and he said he is going to check us out. He thanked me for the invite to become a sponsor. So lets hope he is one of the new banner ads.

Gerald-

Sorry if you kept hitting v-mail. I'm the only one in the office and it seems like I've been on the phone non-stop for the last few days.

We only ship on Friday after mutual agreement with the customer due to the increased Saturday delivery rate. Our normal shipping days are Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, and we let the customer know when it will be delivered. We ship DHL, and normal delivery is before Noon. But is some areas their service isn't guaranteed before 5PM.

Marc has also expressed interest in sponsorship so hopefully soon we will see a wonderful West Coast Tropical marine banner in the rotation as well as a new sponsor forum for him.

OK time for an update. Dhl true to nature was late buy almost an hour. However due to packaging there was no problems as I could tell, followed the aclimation instructions (not in the box, had to look on the site), got 1 large, I say 6 to 8 inch brittle star, 3 tiny pepermint shrimp ( i say tiny, smallest I have seen around here) but in good health, first bag of snails I opened looked strangly like the ones i gave to my lfs cause I thought they would eat the good stuff on my lr, but to my suprise when I placed them in the tank they burrowed straight into the sand (may never see them again) , I don't remember how many crabs I was suppost to get but it seem like there was more than there was supposed to be. , when I got to the snails they also looked good, and I gotta say some of those snails are HUGE.

All in all very impressive. I don't mind playing guinny pig when it turns out like this. I recommend all poor tired AA souls tired of paying way too much for snails & such check west coast tropicals out.
