Thumbs up Drs. Foster and Smith

I bought a HOB overflow, a pump, and a few other things from them. I would say they have a ton of stuff at reasonable prices. Everything arrived that I ordered and the shipping was reasonably fast (due to holiday last weekend). Overall, I'd give them two thumbs up.

They have definitely set the standard of comparison. I've ordered drygoods and livestock from them and always been pleased.

I have had nothing but great experiences with them from sales, delivery and damaged merchandise replacement.

I've always been satisfied with Foster and Smith. I've ordered all sorts of stuff from them and have never once been disappointed. I also like the way they ship your order with little green packaging peanuts that dissolve in water, rather than the normal ones that most places use to ship your stuff!

I had one instance where they only sent part of an item, but they shipped an entire new item out at once and let me keep what I already had! I have been completely satisfied with them.

Another satisfied customer here. Even though I placed my order during the holiday season, shipping was fast and the product was packaged well. Also, shipping was cheaper than at some other major online retailers I checked out. I'd definitely order from them again.

I let my girls build things with them, nothing to worry about either they are made from some sort of starch. It keeps them busy for hours. I also love the way they ship the T5HO lamps, they come in what looks like missile launchers.
Great place.

Until they ship something liquid that wasn't properly protected, and the container opens up and wets all the green packing peanuts... which then dissolve and stick to everything else in the box making a huge mess... and also makes the packing peanuts disappear! So now the box has no packing peanuts, and things that weren't broken to start with, get broken!

But at least in the end they fix their screw ups!

Would never use them again unless they were the sole provider for what I needed and even then it would take some deep soul searching. Their shipping is horrid.

I've had problems with them since they switched to that new hand off shipping where it starts off as UPS then switched over to USPS. I had an order for t-5 lamps, one set came in broken and it took them over a month to send me a replacement.

Do you guys also purchase fish from them? I've always wondered if they were any good, or if the fish actually arrive alive.
