Experience with Wet Spot Tropical Fish?

Just wondering if anyone has ordered online from them and what you're experience was like. They have all the fish I'm interested in at reasonable prices, only charge $38 for overnight shipping, and email communication has been great.

Go for it, but tbh they don't always have too rare of fish, mostly just bread and butter. They do have a really good deal on leichardti aros and striped sd's

Talking about the wetspot in Portland?

I've been there many many times and they have by far the best selection of fish I've even seen in a pet store. Very high quality all EXTREMELY well taken care of and EXTREMELY healthy.

Never ordered online but live close so wouldn't need to obviously.

Fantastic hard scape choices too. A ton of branching rootlike woods.

I love my fish!!!

They are a great shop. Everyone's really friendly too.

Good customer service if you have any quart ions and concerns about fish as well.

That's the place! I've been trying to get a specific rainbow, micro rasbora, and killifish. They're reviews on Yelp-both local and online shoppers-are very good. Thanks for the response!

Love micro rasboras! Awesome for nano setups!

What killifish are you looking at? Just out of curiosity.

No problem! I'm getting 6 forktail rainbows, 6 clown killies, 6 pygmy rasboras, and a pair of scarlet badis. First time for me with both the killies and badis, really looking forward to getting them!

I have seen both the killis and rasboras before both awesome unique fish but just looked up the rainbows and they look gorgeous!!! Can't believe I've never ran into them before!

And scarlet badis have always been a dream but I've heard they do best in species only? Not committed to that.

I love my fish!!!

I've only seen photos of the killies, very excited about them!

I already have 3 of the rasboras and 4 forktails so I wanted to increase their group size. They're the first rainbows I've kept and I'm hooked. Definitely not one of the easiest fish to photograph though

I haven't ordered from them since I Lived out in WA and got cheaper shipping. But, I will say that my experiences with their shipping were always excellent. I have one friend who received an inappropriately packaged pleco from them that did not survive the trip, and they were very good about replacing the fish for her asap since she notified them right away. She has ordered other times and always had an excellent experience. So, I would rate them very highly.
I would still be a bit cautious about shipping right now though, depending on what your temperature is. Though, that is up to them and you for figuring that out.

I'm surprised to hear the opinion that they only carry bread and butter fish. I visit the store often and see so many species that people here describe as hard to find. It varies a lot too. The staff is so knowledgable and really cares about the fish. The shop strikes me as very well kept.

Those furcata rainbows did not do well for me (didn't get them from Wetspot). I lost all but one of them in the first weeks I got them. Since then I've read they are not the easiest fish to keep. Wish I'd known that before I order them. Just saying...

I bought my first 5 from a seller on eBay, lost 1 after a week. That was a few months ago. Then I tried buying them from Arizona Aquatic Gardens. Long story short I'll never order from them again. So hoping to be successful with Wet Spot.....

Very, very happy with their prices, selection, communication, packaging, and the fish themselves.

Will try to get better pictures today but here's one of the male clowns:
