Oh my jaw just about hit the floor when i opend to www.ffexpress.com and found the big Dr. Foster and Smith wording on their logo...

http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/g...al_pagesid=179

Click the above to read some Q+A about this merger/aquasition

Now I dont know if I would recommend them as highly as before...

They seem to be taking over the internet pet supplies industry. I've never ordered from them, but their shipping is pretty high on livestock. Guess time will tell.

Not familiar with FF express except for an occasional post on some boards. What's the main beef with them? (just curious)

I had no beef with ffexpress. Now that it seems that liveaquaria.com is buying up all their competition I am a bit worried about online livestock prices and such.

Oh, I had it backwards. I thought FFE was the conglomerate. Drs F&S are. Got it.

I did see they now offer a 10 day arrive alive guraintee. But from what I have heard they also have higher livestock prices than before so maybe they are charging more per fish to cover the costs of this longer guarintee.

Actually, their prices are not that bad. Many places are alot higher.
At least they have this nice "if you spend 150. ,no shipping if you buy by 4/1."

The special that Liveaquaria.com had on their page, 150 and free shipping, is good for all of their sites. The etropicals and ffexpress did not have it posted, but I emailed and that is what the folks at Fosters & Smith told me.

The free shipping doesn't include LR or LS though.
