Liveaquaria.com?

Has anybody ordered from there? They seem to have good stock, but has anybody had any experience with them?

I haven't, but their prices are pretty high IMO. What are you looking at there?

rams and keyhole are pretty common in almost all LFS, the starry night is pretty rare around NY, but the others are common

Liveaquaria sells all 3, and my LFS doesn't sell any of them. I don't mind paying a bit more, I just wanna make sure I'm paying for quality.

I think you should wait, over night or one day shipping is perhaps more expensive than the fish itself, but if you can't wait, than go ahead and buy

I dont buy livestock online but I do buy all my equipment from them. They are the best IMO.

I will agree with Mike. The Dr's do have some good prices, flat rate shipping, and they ship things out pretty quick too. I just think their livestock is overpriced.

Ya, I know, but I really don't have much of a choice. The ONLY lfs's there are in Atlanta that I know of are petco and petsmart, and they have NOTHING I need. And even if they did, I wouldn't trust it. so I'm just gonna have to try it unless anyone knows of somewhere else. I don't need it till this summer though, just getting a head start.

I've order saltwater critters from them a couple of times with good results, but never freshwater. I don't know if it's a regular deal for them or not, but I was able to order $225 worth and get free shipping. They would let you combine different livestock orders to get there too. (e.g $50 salt, $100 coral, $50 fresh, and $25 plants would get free shipping.)

I've never ordered fw from them, so I can't vouch for pricing there. They do guarantee more than just live arrival.

I've not ordered from there, but I drive there. It's about an hour to an hour and half drive. That's where I got my live rock, sand filter, salt, test kit. The basics. If I "order" I won't be paying the shipping, I'll just go pick it up....cheaper that way.

When the time comes to finally start buy livestock I don't know if I will buy from there or not, cause they are high priced in some fish and other fish prices seem to be comparitable. I have petco and petsmart too and I won't get from there either.

I should add that I go to the retail side not the facility side, I've never seen that, When I talked to the guy about corals and such, he told me about diver's den which is also right there but customers were not allowed in.

So if the price is alot higher than online, I still may go with them because I can physically pick it up and if I have a problem I can physically get in their face lol.
