Intresting. I must read it completely. Has some great information.

I must also say that I got these lamps for free anyway. Thats why I got both in quantities of 2.

Not yet, they should be here on Monday ot Tuesday. Also ordered a couple of Cannister ballasts. they are completely enclosed and allow me to mount them remotely without worrying about getting wet. I started on the cover for my tank yesterday, it is starting to take shape finally. Cutting all the pieces of wood down to a managable size took a bit of time. This is where all the lights will be mounted. Got 3 5" fans for the cover also. The only thing I have not gotten yet was the reflective material for the lights. I thought about using mirrors, but don't know how that will work out. Any suggestions?

Here's a few pics of what I got done so far on the cover. It will set on top of the tank and not hang from the ceiling.
