Reefs2go My last order......

This is the third order I have placed with reefs2go and I am not satisfied. :-(

The first order was for 5 frags of zooas. Only one frag was viable after I got it. I called and they offered to replace 3 of them so I figured I'd try again. The second order was the 3 replacements plus another zooa frag. This order I received maybe 5 polyps that were viable the rest were closed or dead.

Now why would I make a third purchase you ask? Well, I figured maybe their corals were stinky so I didn't order them. lol This third order was for a starfish, an urchin and 12 peppermint shrimp. I also got the 250 pods that were promised for free as well.

The urchin and starfish appear to be fine thankfully. I have at least 2 dead peppermints, some aren't looking so good so we'll see after acclimation. The shrimp are also VERY VERY tiny. Wer're talking half inch at max. The 250 "pods" turned out to be a piece of polyfill with some pods stuck to it. Not at all what I was expecting.

Overall I am not satisfied with the products. Their service was good when I called about the first order but unfortunately customer service isnt enough for me.

Just sharing my experience with everyone, I'm sure some have ordered and been very happy but that was not the case with me.

I would have to agree. Reefs2go forgot to sent me a green mushroom on my order when they were buy one get one free. I called them and they said they would ship with my next order. So I ordered the other day and put on the notes to please send my green mushroom that was not shipped on my order. They emailed me and said they have no knowledge of this and they never sent the mushroom. They also did not respond to my last email. I am not sure if I will order from them again. They could have handled this better. I still done have my green mushroom.

Good to know!! I've been getting their emails daily and just about ready to try an order and see what happens. Think I'll pass. If they cannot get decent stock to Carey in florida shipping from florida I can imagine what I would get here in ohio. Thanks to all for the comments. Just saved me some money.

Hmmm... That's odd. I've placed over 8 orders with them and well... You've seen the corals in my BC29 and my 8 gallon and I haven't ever had a issue.

It's all been great to me. Freebies, orders on time and everything showing up alive and ready to thrive.

I'm sorry some of you have had bad experiences. I know a few other members that are very happy with them.

I ordered snails from them when they came they were so tiny I couldn't believe it some were dead already and only 3 survived out of 40. But they sent me a full refund after I contacted them. Maybe they should charge a little more and give larger animals. JMO

Agreed. i would be willing to pay a bit more for better quality. They are very friendly and give credits easily, but I would rather have what i ordered than my money back.

I sent them an email asking about a replenishment clean up crew for my tank and to this day have had no reply at all, so I bought one somewhere else and got a pretty good deal and fast. Thought about ordering some coral from them too, but I guess not now.

Their 9 dollar coral bin...the biggest friggen waste of money! I ordered some candy apple zoas and blue arctic zoas well with the candy apples they were so small they died during freight and the blue arctic only came with 3 polyps (they promised 5 or more) waste of time with them, if anyone's looking try aquacon.com they maybe a little pricy on some things but other than that they come with awesome size corals! Haven't tried ordering fish though..

Aquacon comes with a pretty bad rep. I have ordered from them about 3 times though with no problems whatsoever. Their fish are just fine and I have the same ones I ordered from them over a year ago, still alive and doing well. The reviews online for aquacon are beyond terrible though so it might be hit or miss with them. I also live in Florida where they are located so I think the short transit time might be a factor. Their customer service is very good and their shipping is done very well.

So , I guess it's just a question of who you ask. lol I plan on ordering some more fish from them in the near future so I havent been jaded yet. hehe... But as far as reefs2go, i will not be giving them another shot. Fool me twice well you know the saying LOL

Gah. I wish I had seen this before. Haha. I ordered some zoas and plays from them this week. FedEx still hasn't delivered and it was supposed to be here yesterday. I emailed customer support last night and still no response. I guess I will try emailing them again. On the plus side it was free shipping. You get what you pay for I guess.

Still no shipment or response to email. I'm going to call them today. If it arrives, I'm sure everything will be dead at this point.

Quick update: it didn't ship because of a shortage in stock. It is rescheduled for shipment tomorrow. They said they sent a rescheduled email but I didn't see it in the spam folder.

I'm very glad it wasn't lost in shipment. I was worried.

I'll update after receiving, but I'm happier after receiving a response.

I ordered a figure 8 puffer fish from reefs2go. I had the tank cycled, brackish, and I even bought pond snails.

Reefs2go proceeded to delay my order for 2 weeks, then tell me my order was cancelled in the last second
