I called Pet Mart to get some prices from them and they were pretty rude to me over the phone. They won't be seeing me in their store.

the pier is closer to US19 and I275

I suggesting going down Gluf Blvd over the Johns pass to go down till you get to an intersection that have a 7/11 or Circle K(gas station) and a bar place calls daiquiri deck...turn right and follow the signs till you get to US 19....US19 will take you all the way uo to LR.com....I believe they are off that if not close to it.
mapquest it...
depending on traffic it may takea good 45-60 mins....its fla...theres always construction that they have been working on for 10 + yrs LOL

I used to live in Florida and I loved Clearwater Beach in Tampa. Perfect place to see wild stingrays! Last time I was there I just waded in the water ankle deep and saw over a hundred stingrays.

From St. Pete the best way to get to LR.com would be US19. Lot's of traffic, lot's of construction ... taking 275 would be a little out the way, you have to almost double back at one point!

LR.com is in Tarpon Springs, FL. near the sponge docks. Also rev Tarpon Springs is a neat place to visit if you have the time ... primarily Greek Orthodox town with a lot of little shops and resturaunts with VERY good Greek food.

Stay away from the tourist trap Clearwater Beach ... it's a madhouse and there are many other nicer beaches down where you are!

John's pass is nice, like pearson said ... great place to shop and eat, Check out a place called Gator's ..... some people may cringe, BUT they have the best Grouper Nuggets and Gator Tail ANYWHERE!!!!

Have fun ... enjoy your stay!! How long are you staying?

We stay at Treasure Island every year and love it. Dont want to stay anywhere else. It's not as crowded as clearwater and going in late August makes it even better! :P

We are also very close to Tyrone mall, and all the other stuff.....

We will be leaving here next Thursday and will stay 8 days. Can't wait!!

Thanks for the eating advice and directions...

Any more thoughts???

Red Tide is NASTY stuff, lucky enough it hasn't spread as far north this year and my beaches in Hernando County are still good!

Hey pearson what's the name of that other resturaunt down there .... ummmm, remeber (if you listened) Bubba the love Sponge used to go there and Hulk Hogan eats there all the time ... somewhat on the expensive side ... very good seafood!! Dang I can't remember the name!
Hold on I'll find out!!!!

Salt Rock Grille ..... you will need reservations though and like I said it is on the expensive side! BUT really good food!!! Although it is not in treasure Island ... just a bit north in Idian Rocks Beach. Not hard to get there though.

Antoher one a friend of mine suggests is called Keegans Seafood Grille, I'm not familiar with this one, but if you search on the net there are some reviews about it!
