Wetspot?

Has anyone ordered from them? Is the minimum $24 worth it? I would love to get a pair of Apistos from them but don't know if it's worth it if they are not a good company. If I do get the pair they will be in a 20Long with plants 4 caves and 4 otos.

I ordered my rope fish from them through Aquabid.

I never got an email/text/call anything saying my fish was delivered till later that night. He spent 2 hours in the snow and cold on my front porch. Thankfully, they packaged him very well with insulation and heat packs. I still have him in good condition today.

I'd say 75% of my fish are from Wet Spot! Never had a problem with communication (email or phone), shipping, DOAs, etc.

And for what it's worth delivery confirmation comes from UPS, not Wet Spot.

Then UPS failed me, they delivered him at like 7pm at night and failed to notify anyone.

That's really disappointing! I've always received my deliveries by 10am and get both a text and email update. Not the first time I've heard about UPS issues though...

The Wet Spot is my LFS, so I've never ordered online, but my experiences in person and with the fish have always been good.

I saw the double reds in person the other day and they were lovely. I briefly considered changing my stocking plan to accommodate them

I'm jealous, seems like a store I'd like to wander and browse!

It's a wonderful place. I spend way too much time (and money!) there.

I've had nothing but good experiences from them. I bought my Rotkeil Severum, a bunch of my Rainbowfish, a m/f pair of Gold Rams, and a m/f pair of Dwarf Flame Gouramis from them, and I have had no problems or health issues from any of their fish. I am a big fan of theirs and whenever I can make it into Portland I make it a point to stop in there. Their staff has always been friendly to me and done their best to answer any of my questions, and seem pretty knowledgable. I don't order from them online since I live about 35 mins. away and would rather not pay for shipping, but I can say that their fish seem healthy, show nice colors and have never given me any problems for what that's worth!

I am holding off ordering from them seeing I have a very big vet bill to pay due to my dog getting hit by a car protecting my neighbor's daughter
