20gal hex conversion - fish to reptile

i had a 20gal hex community tank going but all the fish i had were wrong for the tank.

so i decided to go for a lizard instead .. i wanted a day gecko but ended up with a tokay gecko instead since the day gecko was $170!!!

ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN MAKE A CUSTOM REPTILE LID FOR A HEX? as of now, i'm using a cut out screen with the lights & rocks on top lol i'm terrified he's gonna get out
