***Small Animal/Reptile Tank***

What a steal! Should I go grab it tomorrow?

i would go check it out atleast, see how sturdy is it/thickness. i would be carefully with your purchase if you want it to hold water... reliability.

The guy called me back and said he planned to use it for turtles, seems legit.

the problem is that there doesn't appear to be any reinforcing frame on the top or bottom; are the acrylic sides siliconed, or 'welded' together? Without something to keep the sides straight, 40 gallons (*) may bow those sides out a lot. I'd want to see this thing filled before buying.

edit: may be closer to 35 gallons acc. to my tank size chart.

Yeah, I phoned him and had him measure the thickness of the acrylic. Only 1/4" so it was a bit too thin for a tank of that size. Ah well, there will be other tanks.
