bug problem

So I didn't know were else to post this but I'm sure it's some bug people here that can help, I need id on this black and red Beatle that infest the outside of my home every year since I was younger and need help on how to rid of them, there not in the house although a few make it in from time to time but any help is apperceated. I'm located in the Chicago area if that helps

According to the link, the application of dish washing or laundry detergent via a sprayer device will control them. I believe the soap/foam interferes with their respiration.

Box elder bugs love to swarm the side of your house in the fall. The lady bugs will be around doing the about now, too. I think for the warmth this time of year.

I'm a painter in Chicago land area and come across this problem a lot. I use downy in a spray bottle to keep them far away. Smells good too.

Yea I took a lot down with some bug spray we had, but there still out here lol. Going to try the foam thing.
