Catching fish

Hi iv got an 8ft tank 1000l with African Cichlids which have had quite a few babys. Starting to over run the tabk and attack my fish, how do i catch them? Tried a net but no luck. Thanks

I drain the tank as low as possible, makes catching fish infinitely easier.

Thank 4 the reply. I tried that but got an 8x2 foot tank still to much room for them so no luck. Got most of them now i cut the end off a 2 litre bottle off pop and turned it round put a bit off food in and created a trap works great.
