........... My betta just died....... I brought it home, and put it in a glass bowl, just till i had a ready tank..... And it died.............
 
I am sorry for your loss. My mom's eye docter had a dragon betta that was eaten by his wife's cat.
 
No, i didnt acclimate, because i read somewhere that there is no need to acclimate.... I guess i learned my lesson... But there is a little bit of tissue poking out of it's gills, idk if thats the problem but....
 
you should always acclimate. The tissue you see is probably just part of his gill flap.
 
Try again I lost fish this way before. Buy some water conditioner bc tap water isn't safe for fish
 
Bettas are tough fish. They can survive bad water conditions, because they can breath air at the surface, but you still have to prepare the water.
