farting fish?

I saw my pleco fart last night. I am still wondering if my eyes were playing tricks on me so I'd like to know
How many of you have witnessed any fishy flatulence?

My cories do it all the time, usually after they go up for air.

I know cories get extra oxygen by going to the surface getting a mouthfull and then they swallow it and it is absorbed while passing through the intestines and the excess is passed out like gas. I imagine other fish may do this as well

My oscars do it all the time and I didn't know if I was seeing things to start with lol never knowen any other to yet tho
