All the talk about pressurized CO2 in the Planted Tank forum made me think of this:

Regulator/solonoid/bubble counter: $125
pH controller: $100
CO2 cylinder: $85

No more unstable yeast mixes and algae:

PRICELESS! :)

Can you think of something similar for this or other areas of fishkeeping? :)

I'm not too keen on these types of things, but I very recently made a few "automations" on my tank:

A few timers: $40
A large power strip: $20
2 NEW Eheim Liquidosers from Craigslist: $75
1 NEW Eheim Auto Feeder from Craigslist: $25

No more forgetting to turn the lights on, no more leaving the lights on for 12+ hours, no more missed feedings, no more excessive feedings, no more missed fertilizing (well, not entirely. Need a couple more liquidosers), and no more complaining wife about having to do most of these tasks while I'm out at work:

PRICELESS!!!!

LOL...that's what my husband says too. "Wife stops complaining about algae - priceless!"

It sounds like you have put together a nice automation system for your tank!

Computer: $300
Internet service $9.99
Finding a site as helpful and friendly as this one:

Priceless.
