Has anyone tried NITRASTRATE

Oops, yes - bit sideways on topic. Thanks for the info. I reckon I could do a few kilos but I think I will swap it into the slower canister. Will have to check flow rates when back home to see how different. Can't do it for a bit, will have to be later in year.
No problem. You could always try 500g or 1ltr first and see how that goes. Then simply increase the amount. If it doesn't work for the Nitrates it will work as regular Bio Media, so won't be completely useless. If/when you try it, please let me know.....Ian
 
This is great! I find it quite interesting. I'm also starting to think that the stuff I added to my filter, biohome ultimate, is doing all 3 processes, too. I saw a (Australian perhaps) man on YouTube who was saying biohome was the best biological and I thought he said it would also remove nitrates. But, I didn't think about that part until now.

I'm headed to check out your page now.
