Have you ever dreamt of fish?

Last night I had the weirdest dream. Mind you this is the first dream I've ever had of fish. Anyway, it was something like this fish store was closing, and they had a HUGE tank in the center of the store.

In the dream it looked like it was 3 feet high, 30 feet long, and 15 feet wide (no joke, really). That turns out to be a bit over 10,000 gallons. It was kinda like one of those tanks at the fish store were they're meant to be seen from the top, rather than the side. Like a reef tank?

Anyway, I dreamt that somehow I acquired that tank, and all of the tanks around it. I had my normal little guppies in it, and I had a male betta. I was worried the entire dream that the betta would attack the guppies. In the middle I had like rocks and stuff that were I guess... curing. It almost seems like a saltwater tank and that was my live rock section. I also had weird eels in the corner that were like 3 feet long and they pushed their heads out of the water and they were making really weird squealing sounds. Now, I hate eels. I hate anything that looks like an eel. To me, they're gross. And that's about all I had in the tank. And my brother was there. He had tanks when I was younger and before he moved out. I'm actually using his tank right now as my first tank. I'm also using his filter. It was such a weird dream. Cool nonetheless though. Oh and I had some kind of weird filter in the tank. I think it stemmed from me making a DIY sponge filter the other day. Basically I just had a huge pile of "filter rocks" (what I called them in the dream) in two corners of the tank. Then I had a tube go down the middle of them. I was mad cause the eels kept messing up the filter rocks.

Anyway, have you ever dreamt of fish?

After reading about a guys tank breaking in the night on another forum, I had a nightmare that my seals failed and my entire tank spilled out onto my living room floor. When I woke up I had to check the living room to make sure it wasn't real lol. I hope it wasn't a premonition of some kind.

That was one of my recurring nightmares as a kid (when I had 10+ tanks in my bedroom)

I cannot say that I have. I dream about work all the time but never about my fish.

I dream about my fish flying out of my aquariums all the time. they float around the house and I end up chasing them and sticking em back into the tank. I also often dream about natural disasters like tsunamis/earthquakes destroying my aquariums...lol.

I once dreamt my whole tank suddenly got over run by huge crabs that ate all of my fish and corals. Emerlad Crabs the size of your fist. Scary.

I do sometimes. The last fish dream I had, all my plants died, and my fish were all turning in to dogs. I guess my sub concience (can't spell that word...) isn't satisfied by the fish, and wants that Rottweiler I've been begging for my whole life :/

Rofl. That's pretty funny. Were they like part dog/part fish or something like that?
