Not sure this really belongs anywhere else on AA, just found it sort of amusing. Was checking out at the
LFS today, and the girl helping me came up front from in the back, and passing another staffer said "(so and so fish) is gone! Did you see the sold sign?!" So I asked, "special fish?"
Turns out they had a pair of pearsei cichlids, really large fish, which had been there for a couple years, and being priced at some high number ($200?), weren't going anywhere.
Marked down to $29.99, they sold immediately. She said "If I'd known they were going to do that, *I* would have bought them!"
Had to look these up, but judging by the size, that's a lot of fish for $30.
