How much money do you have into our hobby so far?

Just wondering how much money approximately others have into our wonderfully expensive fish keeping hobby. Ill keep it discrete by using a poll but fell free to go into detail below.

All together with my 55g add my 500g(which I haven't even really started lol) I'm at like 4000 4500 looking at atleast 2000 3000 more if everything goes right

At the moment im on about 780. this includes the tank filter heater pump etc. but i still haven't got gravel, fish, a background, or any water in the tank i've only just started out with fish keeping and jumped straight into a 107 gallon tank lol

Haha. Well I spent over $1000 on my discus tank, about $200 on my bichir tank, $400 on my 55, and I'd say a good $400 on everything else. This includes all livestock and plants, filters, lights, etc. So, I'd say over $2000

Well I could either get a custom paint job and wheels for my car or a new set of living room furniture, but I am very happy with my random little glass boxes filled with water. They keep me home and broke so my son always knows where to find me.

right around 600 to 700 between 120g and 10g. Are we suppose to add past tanks in as well ? if so the number just tripled

Actually, I haven't spent a dime. My mom has spent, God I don't want to know. Muahaha.

My 10gallon was 30$. Gravel for that came to like 20$. I needed a new pump for that which was 15$. So 65 plus fish for my one tank. The. I spent 125 on a 29g starter pack without a heater... Stupid heater was 16$. Gravel and plants were 35$. So 176 plus 65 is.... 241$ plus fish so quick tally. 40-50 on fish

My tank was almost $300 with just rock and the tank, and I know I spent another $150 shortly after for misc dry goods. Not all was for the tank though.

This was no livestock included, or how much I've spent on premixed SW.

Now that I think about that it's probably over $500.. dang

that alright it just roughly iam not into sw but you have to buy premixed sw? if you lived close to the ocean could you use that water?

Nope. There would be too many pollutants. And you don't know what else could be in there, disease, etc.

You can mix your own sw. I think it's too hard for me right now, so I'm still fresh.
