My.bedroom smells funky, I think its because of my tank
So I added a bit of fish food 2 days ago in an attempt to start.a fishless cycle, and now my bedroom smells funky. It was fine before that but now its like rotten eggs. I turned my filter of the same night, as well, so that none of the food got sucked into the filter. HELP!

I'm doing a fish less cycle with raw shrimp. I'm obey three and the water is beginning to stink. Mines in the kitchen living area so it's wide open. Maybe in the enclosed area it's worse

Define "bit". If it is responsible for your room smelling funky, I'd say that you way overfed. The filter off won't help. If you didn't overfeed and it still smells funky, check the laundry.

I went through this with my tanks 29 and 10 gallon, both of which are in my bedroom. It is a tiny room. I had 'that fishy smell' during my fish less cycle. I combated it with opening my window and plenty of water changes. Also with my experience, there will be a bit of a funky smell, it's just the nature of the beast so to speak. But if it gets very bad, something is wrong.
