Now this is an ebay auction I wish I could bid on...

Check it out...

I wonder if it's street legal? It does have a license plate on the front (which I would have blurred out).

I guess he did mention the "excessive noise issue".

There is no way that is street legal. I'd hate to be the car behind them at a stop light.

It may actually depend on the state. There are two levels of "street legal". The very basic level: i.e. turn signals, break lights and all of the basics. Then there is that "other" level that has to do with the amount of tint in your windows and whether or not your fog lights are too bright. And we all know everyone gets away with that second "other" level.

One thing is definately for sure, street legal or not, . . . I want that car!!

I like how it's "thrust only; no reverse".

With no reverse, I doubt it is street-legal anywhere in North America....sure looks cool, though, and those turbines alone are worth twice the $20K winning bid.

The turbines are cool....he just should have built them into an aeroplane...now that would have been useful.

But without a flux capacitor it would just be a waste of time, and a waste of a DeLorean.
