PayPal help

not sure if this is the right place to post but i will be making a paypal account (selling giving away plant trimmings) i just have a question which do i chose business student premium or personal? i know nothing about PayPal any help would be appreciated thank you

how many sales do you think you will be making a month? I would say go with Premier...which is required to accept credit card payments when you sell stuff.

not many maybe only 3-5 small packages of trimmings a month if that

yea a premier account is what you need then.

You have to be 18 to set up a Paypal account. Until then, you'll have to use your parents' account.

Correct, you do need to be 18 to register. A premier account is not necessary if you are just doing small, paypal to paypal transactions. Not many hobbyists accept credit cards anyway so you won't be losing a lot of business.

it says student accounts does that mean my dad could make me a student under his?

Yes, it means that your dad would set up the account and you would get a debit card tied to that account. Your dad would have control over all the funds going into the account and he would be able to monitor all your spending activity. It doesn't look like you can accept payments with a student account, I think it is just a debit card for you.

this is frustrating i just want to be able to accept shipping payments i dont mind shipping free for a bit just after time $5-6 adds up and i was hoping to add money to it using a pre paid credit card so i could aquire stuff iff here more easily
