Swimming/chlorine/ fish tanks

Okay, well i'm a swimmer, and i'm in the pool everyday, and since pools have chlorine, i worry about killing my fish if i stick my hands in the water too soon. So if i just take a shower, will i be fine sticking my hands in the tank water right after that? Or should i wait a little longer?

It will be fine as long as you're dry regardless of shower.
