Okay everyone. The point of this thread is to see how expensive the hobby is. I am curious about how much your current stock costs. You can include the price of your babies when they're fully grown if you want. Mine comes to around £120-140 for this stock list

6 platies
4 guppies
4 otos
5 dwarf gourami
8 panda cory
3 anamo shrimp
3 red cherry shrimp
12-13 platy and guppy fry

Please say what stock you have! Thanks !

Three peppered cories-$15
One male/female guppy pair-$5
Three female guppies-$8.37
One mystery snail-$2.79
= $31.28 - $19($1 per guppy fry, 19 fry)= $12.28
So I've only spent $12.28 on my stock that is surviving and belongs to me.

Oh gosh that is going to be depressing.... This is only saltwater fish, not including corals and stuff.
Black clown-37
Occy clown- 27
One spot foxface-30
Chalk bass-20
Engineer goby- 20
Flame hawk- 32
Marine betta- 60

226..... :( haha

Lol i wish he had not posted that hahah. Yeah they are all beautiful..worth it though!!

Hahaha! With corals its double that.

Ya they are nice lookin.... But so it 226 bucks...

My stock consists of

3 Bolivian Rams (was 4 but lost one) £20 for 4
7 Zebra Danios £7
7 Penguin Tetras £15
2 Golden CAE £5
6 Amano Shrimp £24

Total £71.

It's a little ridiculous that my stock cost £71 my freaking plants cost me £210. Lol.

I spent AUD$20 on the goldfish (cos of the lionhead mostly) but spent over $150 on the stuff to decorate. $100 of that on the silk plants alone.

Meh!
