What did you do for your fish today?

Added a Fluval U1 to my 29G and hoping I can eventually get a plant growing by it to cover up the mass of black plastic. Using it as an extra filter (duh) and when I add my diy co2 hoping it will increase the area of coverage of said co2.

I added a two plants to my tank today. I'm hoping my inadequate lighting will be enough to sustain them. (I have a tiny algae problem, so obviously there's enough light for that to grow). We'll see how it turns out.

I hooked up all the HOB filters to UPS units. Power went out just as I was getting ready to go to work today... fortunately, I have an understanding boss. And the outage only went about 45 minutes, so no big harm done. I think I could use another UPS though, just for the fish.

I changed my 10g from rocks to sand. it was a long arduous process, but well worth it!!!
