What do I put in drop checker??

Do I put 4dkh and 4 drops of ph tester solution? How much 4dkh?

Is it too complicated to make at home?

I understand that it is not too complicated but I went the easy route and bought the Fluval drop checker. It comes with premixed indicator fluid.

4dkh and 3-4 drops of ph solution, more ph drops..darker the color.
