you set up a new dedicated aquarium when you find something in your main aquarium that doesn't belong there.

If you can't decide what type of fish to get so you just get all the ones you want and set up more tanks.

When you start to lecture someone about proper fish care if they just mention getting a tank.

You set up a larger tank to cut down on the number you have active, And before you're even finished you and your wife are planning that ten gallon nano-reef tank for infront of her desk seeing as now you have a tank free.

you can't fit your new snowblower in the garage because then you'd have to find a new place to store all the extra tank equipment......

When you start to think about how you can modify your house to handle another tank. I've already researched the floor joist supports I want to put under my floor to handle a 125 gallon tank.

When during a power outage, you focus on your fish and tank rather than your family and house

When your family and friends walk into your house, look around, and say, "Wow, another one?!".
