Hey guys, Im going to be buying a 12 gallon long this weekend and I was wondering what light fixture I should get. I was thinking about a Marineland Double bright LED, or a Finnex 36" LED. Here are the links:

Marineland Double Bright:

Amazon.com: Marineland ML Double Bright LED Light, 36-Inch to 48-Inch: Pet Supplies

Finnex 36":

AquaVibrant

I was planning on a high tech tank, but im scared it might be too much light for such a shallow tank. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

If you're dead set on one or the other I'd suggest the Finnex as I've had excellent results with the one over my 10g,I'll attach a pic of pic for some visual proof..

I like my Finnex fixture also. The FugeRay is fine for low to medium light tanks (depending on depth) and the Ray II is great for higher light systems.

Amazon may have better prices. Make sure to get the plant model (7000K).
