Well I had to set up a one gall planted for a "science project" 
, well, thats what I told my mom anyways LOL 
so I have pictures of that getting set up...

eco complete/quarts gravel mix
plants
echindorus parviflorus
crypt. wendtii "brown"
cabomba
elodea
ludwigia var. broadleaf
java fern
got it from sisters friend... (she had two bettas then gave up... she diddnt really is not a fish person)
Cleaned it
put substrate in
Half filed with plants...
Now its scaped...
With the light he tank came with,... Trashed it
