looking to get a co2 tank. i'm leaning towards paintball co2..
obviously, aiming for a semi/ heavily planted tank.

ADVICE PUHLEAAAAAASE!!!

That would be a no no in my book. Generally you want to stay away from fixtures that are for reef tanks. The actinic blue lights are NOT that usable to plants. You want color temps that are between 6,000k to 10,000k. The actinic lighting will get you some major algae...

Anyway... Are you looking to get LED's or a T5HO (florescent tube) fixture?

Edit: that fixture might work if you swap the actinic tubes for some 6,500K bulbs. Just read the entire listing and there's an option for that.. Can't really comment on the quality of that brand or reflectors...

Also.. Your tank sounds rather large for paintball co2. If space is limited, i suppose it's a good option for concealment, but you'll probably go through the paintball cylinders quickly. If you have the space, I'd go with a full size regulator and a 5lbs or 10lbs tank. Aquatek makes some good co2 regulators for the price.
