6500 or 10,000k

which is better and why do you like more than the other? I currently have two 65w 10000k bulbs on my 100 gal tank but i am fixing to order more light and was wondering if i should change the light spectrum.

plants can only use light in the 6000-7000 spectrum range

actually I've heard they can use light from 6500-10000K not sure which is better tho.

oh well i guess i've read varying things, too. but i read more often than not to get bulbs that are between 6000-7000k

I've got 10,000k bulbs over both my planted tanks, plants do very well, and gives a brighter white, almost blue tinge to the water, versus the yellowish pinkish tinges i have seen with some of the bulbs in the lower spectrums

my plants have done well with the 10000k bulb. I just did not know if the other lights would make things look different.
