8000k alright for plants?

I am looking at a light fixture for a 5 gallon and the only bulb I can find is 8000k. Will this work?

Thats fine. The ones that come with the 5g strips are a little pink for my taste, but that's strictly a matter of opinion.

I dont prefer pink myself. I like a little bluer but this seems to be the only option I can find on a low budget.
