Hi everyone,
I have a 16G tank with some fish and live plants. Lately some long grassy looking algae has been growing on one of my live plants. I was just wondering how to get it off? I have an algae eating fish and it hasn't been doing anything. I have some rocks and all it does it stick to the rocks all day. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks for the help

My lights are on for around 12 hours. I'm not sure what you mean by dosing with carbon/CO2. The tank isn't in actual natural light.

Cut back to around 6-8 hours. Algae will definitely thrive due to lights being on for too long. If you have a timer, put a two hour lights off in the middle of your light cycle - e.g. 8-12 on, 12-2 off, 2-6 on. Also, liquid carbon gives the carbon dioxide your plants need and reduces the oxygen that algae needs to grow. I've been using API CO2 Booster (all my store had and it was on sale).
